The Sister Invasion & Muir Woods

Michelle, Vanessa & Daisy

I meant to write this on Monday, but only now got the time to sit down to blog. Over the weekend my sisters came to visit. They literally invaded our apartment. Their stuff was everywhere. Let me tell you they don't pack light, not to mention all the junk food they brought over. Ben's been sick the past 2 days. I blame it on the junk food. We aren't use to food like that anymore. Also, I felt sorry for Ben being in a room with four chatty girls watching chick flicks:). It was kinda crowded, but we enjoyed having them over. The next day we got up early, packed some lunches and water and headed up to Muir woods. It was the first day of clear skies. It was sunny yet freezing cold. Most of the trails were closed, but we still got to see some beautiful trees. My sisters took pictures like Asian tourists. I think they must of took a photo every step they took. LOL. Here are some pictures our Muir woods adventure.

Tree hugger #2 (Dazo)

Tree hugger #3 (Michelle)

Tree hugger #4 (Vanny)

Looks like Ben's had enough of crazy girls. LOL
I had a lot of fun with my sisters. Gaby missed out, but maybe she will come next time. Hopefully next time is soon. Who knows what the next sister adventure will be:)

The Massage Envy Experience

Yesterday Ben & I went to Massage Envy. Ben had been there before and couldn't wait to get a massage. I on the other hand was a little nervous it being my first time. Especially after hearing Aunt Terry's massage experience. I'm sure some of you have heard the story. If not, ask her about it. Besides Aunt Terry's story I had heard good things about it from everyone else. Ben's female masseuse called in sick ( pink eye) so they set him up with Daniel;) I wanted to burst in laughter. Ben had told me he would never let a guy massage his body. There's a first time for everything. After it was over Ben said it wasn't bad having a male masseuse, but still prefers the gentle touch of a women and I was relieved that my massage was really nice and nothing exposing about it. I will definitely try it again.

Random Picture of the Day: Cute gopher at Lafayette Reservoir

Welcome.

I started this blog to share new memories as a Moffat. I've never blogged before, but I have had countless journals & diaries. It's the same idea. I hope to be able to keep up with this blog so one day my children and their children can look back at all the things their father & I did. It's been 3 months since I married my beloved Bentley Moffat and things are going great. I left Sacramento for the bay area which isn't bad there's so much to do here. The only thing I don't like about the bay area is the parking! I can't parallel park worth anything. I miss parking lots:(  As of right now I've been playing the role of the housewife. I hope to find a job soon, but I got to tell you being a housewife rocks. I get up every morning eat breakfast, clean the house and once I'm done I have the rest of the day free to do whatever I please until it's time to make dinner for the arrival of the husband. I got to say I've become a better cook since I've stopped working;) Things are looking good for us. We now have a T.V. and a subscription to Netflix. Next on our list is to one day have more furniture. lol. Ah the life of newlyweds.
